Social Media and Motherhood in Sacramento
As One of the Largest Growing Group of Social Media Adopters,
Nearly 40 million U.S. Moms are Expected to be Online by 2012
Tuesday, July 12 at The Urban Hive
Social media has transformed the way moms connect and gather information in the 21st Century. They’re turning to Twitter, blogs and forums for everything from seeking advice on the best baby products to connecting with other like-minded moms. Many digital savvy and entrepreneurial moms are even taking to the blogosphere as “mommy bloggers” where they offer their experiences, word-of-mouth brand endorsements, and accumulate influential communities of followers online.
Always viewed as an attractive target for advertising and public relations, brands are taking note of the Internet’s most desirable group and leveraging social media in new ways online to capture their attention and purchasing power offline.
Sacramento Social Media Club has gathered a panel of influential digital moms and mommy bloggers to discuss best practices when it comes to finding, reaching and engaging moms online.

*Since our first event in April of 2009, Sacramento Social Media Club has provided the community with FREE panels and workshops. We've brought cutting edge topics, knowledgeable speakers, and great food and drinks. We've been able to do all this for free thanks to generous sponsors and individuals. But, as we grow, we need your help. At this event, we're asking for a $10 donation at the door to help us cover costs.
